EFFECT Site: Klerksdorp

Tshepong Hospital in Klerksdorp in the Northwest province of South Africa is home an EFFECT site under the leadership of Prof. Ebrahim Variava as part of a research unit operating from the North West Province hospital complex. The site falls under WITS university.

This site is part of a very experienced trials unit (itself part of PHRU) with Dr Gifty Okyere-Manu and a large team of Medical Officers, Pharmacists, Nurses and Community Workers supporting the trial's activities at the site.
