Baby GERMS Outbreak

Healthcare-associated infections occur in ≥10% of hospitalised new-born babies with as many as 30% of affected babies dying. Baby GERMS outbreak continues from the successful Baby-GERMS surveillance project as a part of NICD-CHARM's on going research to quantify these infections and detect outbreaks.

Baby GERMS Outbreak has been launched and will run concurrently with a project and mobile monitoring application called Neo-HAI Mobile Application and the project is being run as per the schema shown here.
